Jingbo Liu, ‘Tang Aoqing’ Distinguished Professor of Jilin Uinversity, deputy director of Teaching Guidance committee of the Food Science and Engineering Specialty of the Ministry of Education (2018-2022), member of the Certification conclusions Review Committee of the China Engineering Education Professional certification Association, member of the Food Professional Certification Committee, vice chairman of Asian Egg Association and Egg Processing Branch of China Animal Product Processing Research Institute, director of Functional Food Engineering Research Center and Key Laboratory of Nutrition and Functional Food at Jilin province.
Dr. Liu specializes in the areas of nutrition and functional foods, utilization of egg and byproducts derived from deep processing. Her ongoing and accomplished researches were funded by the National Key R&D Programmes of China (1 project), State Natural Sciences Foundation (3 projects), and by the Ministry of Education of China (1 project). She has published more than 200 papers. Dr. Liu has applied for 90 patents, 39 of which were licensed and 4 of which have been commercialized. Two of her academic projects won the first and second prize in Jilin province. Another six scientific projects were certificated as Achievements of Jilin province.

Nutrition and functional foods, especially different kinds of food derived bioactive peptides regarding their preparation, purification, characterization, bioactivity evaluation (through chemical methods, cell culture and animal models to understand the links to health) and industrial application.
