In order to show the spirit of the national scholarship recipients of our college, and encourage young students to study hard, become self-reliant, and develop in an all-round way. On December 17, 2020, the College of Food Science and Engineering of Jilin University held the experience sharing and exchange of the graduates of the national scholarship. At the meeting, doctoral student Du Zhiyang and master students Hao Mingwei, Jing Siyuan, and Zhang Wenjing conducted exchanges and sharing. All graduate students of the school and 2019 undergraduates participated in this exchange meeting.
At the meeting, the host conducted interview-style conference exchanges with Hao Mingwei, Jing Siyuan, and Zhang Wenjing from the 2018 grade. They answered and shared their respective practices in terms of their understanding of the difficulties and bottlenecks encountered in the study and scientific research, how to solve the problems encountered in the experiment process, and the experience of literature reading , the norms of academic papers, how to strengthen communication with their supervisors, and the physical and mental health of graduate students.
Later, Du Zhiyang, a student of 2016 undergraduate, master's degree and doctoral degree, took the theme of "Qingyun when oneself, the comers can chase", from "My Three Growths", "Graduate Mental Construction", "Graduate Self Positioning", "Graduate Interpersonal Relations" , "Graduate professional knowledge learning" to "Graduate scientific ethics" were introduced. He took himself as an example to introduce to the students what he has learned, considered, and realized at different stages of postgraduate. Du Zhiyang said that when students are in the lower grades, it is best to find their own research direction by strengthening practice. During the learning process, strive to ask good questions, learn and master knowledge in practice, which can achieve multiple effects. He has learned lessons from these aspects; he said that it is necessary for senior students to position themselves well, check for missing vacancies, and try to make up for their shortcomings when they are in school, so that they can make better use of themselves when they are looking for a job. Quality advantages will also benefit a person's long-term development for life.
The sharing of national scholarship recipients made the students feel the hardships and difficulties behind their success at close range. The successful convening of this exchange meeting promoted the understanding of the postgraduates of the College of Food Science and Engineering and the state on the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents, and also spurred postgraduates to think about personal training plans, study plans and career plans. The college's learning atmosphere of comparing, learning, catching up and helping, encourages more students to strive for first-class, realistic and innovative.
