On the afternoon of April 13, 2021, Professor Wu Zidan of Tang Aoqing Lecture of Jilin University was invited to the College of Food Science and Engineering of Jilin University to give an academic report to the teachers and students of the school. The theme of the report was "Progress in Food Safety Management Research". The dean of the college, Professor Zhang Tiehua, presided over the report meeting. Teacher representatives and some graduate students attended the report meeting.

At the report meeting, Professor Wu Zidan first introduced the necessity of food security management and put forward three problems that need to be solved in food management. Subsequently, he introduced the progress of our country's food security management condition by taking the WU model of the balance of heat and moisture transfer in grain piles, the new "four-in-one" grain storage technology, and the multi-field coupling theory of grain storage ecosystems as examples. Finally, Professor Wu Zidan made an outlook on new technologies to improve food security management, and expanded research ideas for everyone.

After the report, Professor Wu Zidan interacted with the teachers of the college and answered some questions from the teachers and students. Finally, Dean Zhang Tiehua expressed his heartfelt thanks to Professor Wu for his wonderful academic report on behalf of the college.
